Captain John Baker is a lifelong mariner with a passion for sharing Florida's beautiful waterways in a fun, safe, and unforgettable way. As the owner and captain of Girls Getaway Boat Charters, John is committed to creating memorable experiences, whether you're celebrating a bachelorette party, birthday, sunset cruise, sandbar adventure, or simply enjoying a day on the water with friends.
Safety and professionalism are at the heart of every charter. Captain John has completed United States Coast Guard-approved professional training, including Master/Mate upgrade coursework and Assistance Towing certification. He also holds a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Marine Radio Operator Permit, maintains CPR and First Aid certification, and participates in a Coast Guard-compliant random drug testing program.
Beyond recreational boating, Captain John is a certified commercial diver through the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI), demonstrating extensive marine experience and a strong commitment to professionalism and safety in demanding maritime environments.
